Hmm, just looked into code. Seems to me, it work

First are done all movements and all unmounted modules are deleted.
After this "tick" time for modules queue - system decrease arrived_in value for not-ready-yet modules.
If this value equal with 0, then if automount==true - mount module.

So, it must work.

So automounting will be ok if base is moving, that will save having to stop every few turns
